This days there is a little exhibition, LASDEC, about ‘Computerization for Local Authorities’. It is taking place at the Tokyo Big Sight, an International Exhibition Center in Ariake, whose modern architecture resembles an ancient shrine.
The local authorities themselves had their stands where they showed part of their infrastructure and technologies. Many companies were also present, some of them trying to lure ordinary customers as well as customers from the local authorities. Among them I could see the Fujitsu, Toshiba, NTT, the very interesting stand from PASCO, and Hitachi, particularly big and attracting many people.
The stand from Oracle was not very big, yet it was interesting enough, showing some Sun Ray devices.
I didn’t stay for too long, I still had to get to the Aoyama Center, but now I have an impression of an exhibition featuring Sun Ray.
