The last weekend was definitely very packed.

A colleague told me that there would be Bossa nova in different venues in Aoyama, and that Oracle’s lobby would be one of them. On the other hand the Tokyo Film Festival would begin on Saturday. It smelled like an ‘artistic’ weekend. In addition, a house mate gave me a ticket for a Visual-kei concert in a venue in Shibuya.

And I gave it a try. I managed to attend two and a half concerts in Aoyama, at the Oracle lobby and at the Z.Imagine bar -the reason for the half concert was that I changed trains at the wrong station and I had to walk almost 1km underground. My colleague was volunteering as steward. Had I known, I would’ve also stewarded; those guys of Fonte really rocked the Oracle.

I also went to Roppongi to try to attend to some screenings, but many were sold out. Even so, I had a look to the green carpet and I managed to get tickets for four films in Competition; two screenings would be on Sunday, the other two during the week (my choices are limited to either early in the morning or late at night, since I have to work), it impresses me watching a film in Cantonese with simultaneous Mandarin and English subtitles and Japanese side-titles followed by a Q&A in three languages.

Saturday night I also managed to attend to the gig in Shibuya, Ayabie vs. Deathbie, two bands of the same members; the gig was interesting, funny and  easy to enjoy.

With such a packed weekend, is not easy to let the time pass by doing nothing, so I also went for a while to Shiodome and Odaiba. When the eyes are away from a computer screen,  modern architecture is as good for them as Salma Hayek.
